Taking part in LTN keeps a piece of Corey with me, I get to continue to share his story, strength and resiliency, while also meeting others going through similar journeys. In the moment you feel like you are the only one going through this pain, but so many others can relate. I hope with the help of the Leukemia society and LTN we one day live in a world blood cancer free.

My partner of 7 years was diagnosed in 2019 with APL leukemia and then continued to battle Leukemia on and off for 5 years, until he passed away in January of 2025. During his battle he was in contact with Light the Night about fundraising and giving back, and I know if he were still with us today, he would be honoured to continue to take part in such a beautiful organization.

An organization that brings such a loving community to others going through or experiencing or have been impacted by the heart break of cancer in some way. Taking part in LTN keeps a piece of Corey with me, I get to continue to share his story, strength and resiliency, while also meeting others going through similar journeys.
