Sam Pisani

Sam Pisani is a Founder and Managing Partner of The Logit Group, one of North America’s leading independent market research execution firms. He founded Logit while completing his Master’s degree in Political Science at York University and has since helped grow the company into a global organization with operations across Canada, the United States, Central America, Asia and Africa.

Under Sam’s leadership, Logit has earned international recognition for its innovative approach to research, technology and data quality, including being named the industry’s most innovative field services provider in the 2025 GRIT Business & Innovation Report. Sam was also named to the global Insights250 list in 2024.

Sam has been an active contributor to the Canadian research industry, volunteering as a Board Member and currently serving as Vice Chair of the Canadian Research Insights Council. In these roles, he has supported efforts to strengthen industry standards, encourage collaboration and advance the research and insights profession in Canada.

Sam’s commitment to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada is deeply personal. Diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma at the age of 19, he is now a survivor of more than 33 years. His experience has given him a profound appreciation for the importance of research, treatment innovation and the support provided to people affected by blood cancer.

For more than a decade, Sam has been an active supporter of LLSC and Light The Night, helping to raise awareness and funds alongside The Logit Group’s employees, clients, industry colleagues, friends and family. Together, the Logit community has raised more than $413,000 in support of LLSC’s mission.

Sam has also served in a volunteer leadership capacity with Light The Night in Toronto and is honoured to serve as Chair of the 2026 Toronto event.

Through this role, Sam hopes to bring together Toronto’s business and community leaders, blood cancer survivors, families and supporters to accelerate progress toward better treatments—and ultimately, a future without blood cancers.
