Nadia Saputo and Patrice Brisebois and so honoured to be a part of Light The Night for our 20th anniversary!

Patrice Brisebois

Patrice Brisebois built an impressive NHL career through passion, resilience, and leadership, becoming one of the most recognizable defensemen of his era with the Montreal Canadiens. Known to many as “Breezer,” Patrice earned the respect of teammates, fans, and the hockey world alike for his dedication to the game and his enduring connection to the city of Montreal. A proud Stanley Cup Champion with the Canadiens in 1993, he remains part of one of the most celebrated moments in the franchise’s storied history.

Following his retirement from professional hockey, Patrice remained deeply involved with the Canadiens organization. Today, he proudly serves as an Ambassador for the Montreal Canadiens and as President of the Canadiens Alumni Association, where he continues to honour the team’s legacy while giving back through countless charitable and community initiatives.

Beyond hockey, Patrice is also an avid car racing enthusiast with a passion for speed, performance, and competition — bringing the same energy and drive to the track that once defined his years on the ice.

While his professional accomplishments are many, Patrice’s greatest pride remains his family, the friendships built throughout his career, and the lasting impact he continues to have both on and off the ice.
