Understanding the profound impact that fundraising can have on our medical system, I was honored to accept the invitation to co-chair the 2023 committee for Light the Night, appreciating the opportunity to contribute to this cause.
Marco Tozzi

Marco was born and raised in the Cartierville-Ahuntsic area and is the youngest of four siblings. He relishes the thrill of hockey in the winter, and delights in golfing and boating during the summer. His academic journey commenced at Stanstead College, later graduating from Centennial Academy. It was there that he nurtured a deep-rooted passion for the skilled trades sector.

Marco's career began at the tender age of 18, working hands-on at construction sites, and now spans four decades of experience in the construction field. His career progressed from roles including an estimator and a chief estimator before he ascended to his current position as Vice President, where his responsibilities involve purchasing and contract negotiation with clients.

His father incorporated Laurentien Electrique in 1950. Today, Marco and his brother, Ron Tozzi, take great pride in co-owning the company, which recently marked its 73rd anniversary in business. Their sons are now also immersed in the business, poised to become the third generation carrying forward the company’s enduring legacy.

Throughout his life, Marco has been an active participant in various fundraisers. A significant personal turning point occurred 19 years ago when he was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. His father, Michel Tozzi, also had a battle with leukemia and sadly passed away in 2018. In the wake of his passing, Laurentien Electrique committed to joining the LLSC Light the Night event in 2018. Understanding the profound impact that fundraising can have on our medical system, Marco was honored to accept the invitation to co-chair the 2023 committee for Light the Night, appreciating the opportunity to contribute to this cause.

Married to his wonderful wife Nancy for 36 years, Marco counts his two sons, their spouses, and four grandchildren as his greatest pride and joy.
