John Davis co-founded WealthBridge Group, in January 2011. WealthBridge is a Calgary based Wealth Management firm advising and supporting the wealth management needs of senior corporate executives. Prior to WealthBridge, John was with Corporate Planning Associates (CPA) where he was responsible for their Calgary office. In December 2009, Corporate Planning Associates was acquired by Scotiabank.

Athletically, John was a player with the Edmonton Eskimos football club in the early 1990s, and he won a national championship with the University of Western Ontario Mustangs in 1989. John has an Honours in Business Administration (HBA) from the Richard Ivey School of Business, along with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from the University of Western Ontario. He also holds the following professional designations: Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Registered Financial Planner (RFP), Registered Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) and Fellow of Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI). In 2007, John was honored as a recipient of a “Top 40 under 40” award by Calgary Inc. magazine in recognition of his contributions to business and community. At that time John was actively involved with the United Way of Calgary and Area as a member of Cabinet, Saint John’s School of Alberta as Board Chair and The Calgary Foundation as Chair of the Environment Grants Committee.

John currently serves on a number of private charitable foundations. He and his wife Kathleen enjoy fitness, travel and supporting their four children in their academic and athletic pursuits. In 2018 Kathleen was diagnosed with Mantle Cell Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. She underwent treatment which involved 6 rounds of chemotherapy followed by high-dose chemo/radiation and a stem cell transplant. She is now in remission and doing well
