Cristina Carlone

Cristina Carlone is a Senior Project Manager in Clinical Research at Syneos Health with nearly a decade of experience in Neuroscience and Dermatology. Since beginning her career in research in 2016, she has been dedicated to advancing innovative therapies that improve patient outcomes.

Outside of her professional work, Cristina has been a passionate volunteer and fundraiser with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada (LLSC) since 2013. Over the years, she has helped raise more than $260,000 in support of LLSC's mission and has become a recognized leader within the organization. She currently serves on the Executive Leadership Committee and was honored as the recipient of the Top Friends & Family Team Award in 2025 and the Matthew Schreindorfer Young Ambassador of the Year Award in 2018.

Cristina's journey with LLSC began in honor of a beloved family friend who passed away far too soon. What started as a way to remember her and celebrate her life has grown into a lifelong commitment to fundraising, advocacy, and community engagement. Grounded in her faith and a deep sense of responsibility to others, Cristina believes in leading through action. She hopes to inspire those around her, including her son, to embrace the importance of generosity, community involvement, and helping those in need. Each year, Cristina's efforts are dedicated to preserving her friend's legacy and ensuring she is never forgotten.

Since 2017, Cristina has organized an annual community fundraising event that has brought together more than 2,000 participants in support of LLSC. Her greatest passion is creating opportunities for people to connect, give back, and make a meaningful difference. Through fundraising and awareness initiatives, she strives to unite the community around a shared purpose while advancing the fight against blood cancers.

As Chair of the Fundraising Committee, Cristina is focused on strengthening community partnerships, expanding engagement opportunities, and inspiring others to support causes that create lasting impact.
