“I am a go getter who likes to set high objectives for myself, and I want to bring my passion, dedication, and determination towards my first campaign with Light The Night.”
Catherine Côté

Catherine grew up on the North shore of Montreal. Ever since she was a kid, she was very curious about the world and decided to go backpacking on her own to South America when she was just 19. She will tell you that it was the best decision she has ever made – her travels and experiences made her adaptable and very sensitive to the world around her.

She graduated from John Molson School of Business with a business degree and during her undergrad years, she was very involved in different student committees at Concordia. Making a difference and having an impact on a larger scale was always extremely important to her.

She has been successfully evolving in sales throughout her career, which started at Xerox. She has since been leaving her mark with customers at FedEx, a leading logistics and transport company, for the last 13 years. Catherine is a go getter, who likes to set high objectives for herself, and she gives herself the means to her ambitions.

She has two young daughters and together with her husband, they have travelled around the globe and are continuing to do so with the girls. As a family, they enjoy skiing, surfing, mountain biking and spending time with other family friends who share the same passions as them.

This is Catherine’s first time taking on a leadership role within a fundraising campaign, and she is excited for the adventure ahead. Both her parents were diagnosed with cancers in 2020 and 2021, a year into their respective retirements. They are in remission today – thanks to research. She has been very busy with her young family but had been thinking about getting involved for a while to help fight this terrible disease. Now seems like the perfect timing. She brings passion, dedication, and determination for her first campaign with Light The Night.
