Anton Antonov is the Senior Vice President and National Head of Sales with Marsh Canada’s Private Client Services in Toronto, Ontario. He began his insurance career with Marsh Canada and obtained his RIBO license in 2003. He also successfully obtained his CAIB and CIP designations over the next few years. In 2007, Anton joined XL Insurance Company Ltd. and was sent to apprentice for the role of underwriter in Fine Art & Specie insurance at the XL syndicate at Lloyd’s of London for four months.
Returning back to North America, Anton served both the Toronto and New York offices for XL Insurance in the niche field of Fine Art & Specie insurance.
After nearly a decade as an underwriter, and also completing his CRM degree, Anton rejoined Marsh to take up the challenge of growing Marsh Canada’s Private Client High Net Worth business on a national level. In his first year back, he was selected to participate in the prestigious year-long Certified Advisor of Personal Insurance (CAPI) Program at Wharton Business School, and graduated with the CAPI designation in the fall of 2017.
Anton applies his experience to each of his clients along with a dedication to efficient and professional service. He is responsible for sales and account management of personal insurance for high net worth clients, and has a unique ability in arranging coverage for international exposures. As of 2018, Anton is also tasked with oversight for sales and growth in the Group Home & Auto portfolio within Marsh Private Client Services.
