Approximately 400 children a year are diagnosed with blood cancer in Canada, with leukemia being the most common form of cancer in children under 14 years.
Getting back to school and daily life can be challenging for children who have had cancer, they may experience short and long-term emotional, physical, and learning difficulties that can disrupt their normal routine.
