Why We Walk!
Light The Night has so many definitions, the society defines Light The Night as the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada's annual 5km walk and fundraising event - a night of solidarity and hope. An event in support of people batlling cancer and paying tribute to those climaed by it. Every autumn, friends, families, and co-workers gather in cities across North America and walk in twilight, holding illuminated balloons - red for supporters, white for patients and survivors, and gold to remember loved ones lost.
Light The Night is more than this definition, its true definitions comes from each and everyone one of our walkers. For no other words could define this event. Now, we have a great place for all those words to come to life. Visit www.whywewalk.ca to share your stories and connect with all the walkers across North America.
